14 likesChris Willman's brief review left me crying . . . so elegant and understated . . . It is a summary of how the fans feel. At least the older ones, like me. I looked up Chris Willman on twitter, and he is not just out of college. This review is finer than any AOTY award. So beautifully expressed, what is in this Lana stan's heart from start "There's dynamite in this tunnel" to finish: "Lana Del Rey, accused for so long of striking a pose, may ironically have established herself as the most naked, least affected pop superstar we have right now": If the mods want to place this post in the Ocean Blvd Post Release thread, I can appreciate that. But this summary captures Ocean Blvd album so well, I thought it deserves its own topic . . . Let me quote "Is this her masterpiece to date? It might be." 14 likesVery glad I was able to attend last night, the concert was beautiful. Despite being as far away from the stage as possible in the arena regarding sections, I had center-stage seats which I wasn't expecting. The emotion felt during Ocean Blvd's outro was insane... Cherry outro too was another highlight but the setlist was consistently hit after hit (if we take out Bartender) and I'm just so happy I got to see Chemtrails live too My only gripe is she didn't do West Coast! I still remember the 15 seconds of deafening screams that filled the entire arena, it was really endearing when Lana said she'd take that with her & whenever she would have a bad day she would think of that moment etc. I think her constant gratitude (and the amazing crowd) really elevated the show and made it all the more heartwarming.

14 likesVirus. Lana said that? Couldn't make out. Noticed that on a tweet #4 video . . . Scrolling the comments trying to find out. Me, niether. I couldn't wait! finally a clear audio . . . Thanx, @heavenisatunnel wish it is the whole song. This is the one I found, starting with new lyrics, but I had to listen to the tiktok to find out what Lana is singing new lyrics. What a moment! That was amazing! Thanx for the nice afternoon catching up on posts about the nl live . . . I was working baking a healthy banana bread for my client, so I caught up while it was in the oven 50 minutes . . . Thanx, @Elle for the HQ photos.

9 likesshe loved using random stage names and throwing around random song titles and naming files in quirky ways... like it's not that serious... remember when she was in that one youtube uploads comments talking about trash magic "God. I forgot that. I don't know if i changed the name- i think i called it Trash Magic in my notebook, but also miss america. I was staying at the sunset motel in new jersey off and on every other couple of weeks. I decorated it with tinsel from the duane reade up the street and wrote this song.. It still makes me happy." some songs like oooh baby and i don't wanna go has like 3 titles she was just using for no reason... so i'm sure little girls and trash are just as legit

Guardian, Legends, I Pray 4 Rain, Always Ready and All To Myself could be a cute 5 track ep if she finished the songs properly -

9 likesi was there that ocean blvd outro was the serviest & cuntiest shit on earth i literally cannot i hope someone made a good recording cause i was shaking and crying so bad and there were like 2 minutes of guttural screams from the entire crowd after summertime sadness like i seriously need hearing aids but she said she would always take that cheering with her whenever she was feeling down and she repeated it later on it was so sweet and she was so sweet about everyone putting their lights up during arcadia i really think we made her feel all the love

8 likesOKAY GIRLIES I was there (like 4th row golden circle) and here's my mini review: Ya'll who have never seen her live think she's beautiful, but she is fucking STUNNING in real life. Holy shit. I almost came right then and there. The audience was annoying as all hell, there was mini fights all around me and people being annoyed that there are tall people in the crowd (me lmfao). I could barely hear Lana over the insane screaming of the crowd. You can hear Lana much much better playing back video than you could in the venue. It was just static noise at one point. My ears are still ringing. On the plus side: Mother did thank us for our enthusiasm and appreciated singing with her . When the crowd quiets down and you can hear her: her voice is fucking gorgeous. It's 'stronger' than I thought it would be live, and less reliant on backing vocals or a support track. Literal perfection. I'm sad she didn't interact with the audience more and we didn't get an extra song, but I would 100000% go again. Only I will book premium seats instead of golden circle, think the sound would be less overwhelming there and goddamn do my feet still hurt. I'm also sad I'm probably gonna have to wait a long time to see her live again. I NEED MORE

7 likesno wait you're a genius Mine is Carmen: "Cause her liquor's top shelf" Top shelf is a liquor brand. It's also north american slang for "good quality." But I alwyas interpreted this line as being about her parents putting the liquor on the highest shelf so she wouldn't be able to reach it, and this line always evoked an image of a precocious little girl on her tippy toes reaching for a bottle of her dad's whiskey

7 likesnot really she doesnt really sell anything signed unless it’s a print. it’s too difficult for distribution and shipping so it doesnt really make it worth their while i think the poster just meant they were happy to have the first copy signed in person as people will probably have her sign it when they meet her

MARINA (and The Diamonds)

From Marina's Instagram stories: She keeps teasing with the Cherry aesthetic in the first photo, she has already teased for a long time with her cherry patterned dress (like Lana wore also a cherry patterned dress in Amsterdam). But in the second photo, she tagged Ben H Berger (who also dates her friend Sadie Newman), who is a member of a songwriting, record production and remix group Captain Cuts, who has worked with Marina and they co-wrote and co-produced songs like Lonely Hearts Club, Superstar, Karma and About Love and an unreleased song from Love + Fear era called What I Wanna Do. Is it a possible hint for a new collaboration on her new album? -

5 likesOmfg she really was feeling Ocean Boulevard huh? Also the way she’s been doing the video games high note is exactly like she did back in 2012 and it’s gonna fucking bring tears to me! The way she grew from those days but still has that spark and what made her special! Also just picture how she was on that jazz cafe live 2012 and then picture how she is now on these big stages that sell out in like 2 minutes!

omg I have 700 hours on this game! Love it to death. I do have on and off phases with SDV though, but it has such a special place in my heart it will forever be my favourite game. But I think the on-off phase isn't because of the game but because of my gaming behaviour. Before I played it, I thought it was just another farming simulator but the story has so many real-life day to day aspects and struggles, love how deep and real the character stories are (trying hard not to spoil), so much so it made me become emotionally attached to 2D pixel characters lol the game is very wholesome but at the same time very real Also, I cannot praise Eric Barone enough. He essentially developed the game by himself, the art, the music, the programming. You can feel how much love he put in it. He gave us four years after the official game release a free content patch, which was a whole ass game by itself and he put the game on sale during that time (the original game is what, normally only about 14€ for PC??). That patch alone was more than any damn "Early Access" games for 30€ give us these days or EA gives us in any Sims 4 game/extention pack. I only bought the Soundtrack to support him and shove more money down his throat because he deserves it. A lot of people bought the game on every platform just to support him, he is very loved in the community. We are all looking forward to his new game, Haunted Chocolatier that is currently in development. The game normally costs 13,99€ (on Steam/PC) and is currently on sale for 9,23€. But i've seen it for 4,99€ too sometimes, so if you are unsure about it, I would get it during a sale. The content you get for the price is insane. Plus, I just got this OST Vinyl Boxset a while ago and it's the cutest damn thing everrr look at it omg -
