I like alice but she's upset for a reason which is grimes not really acknowledging her in any way and using this kill v maim situation to back up on her feelings I can understand why she feels that way even though she's in the wrong since they never really worked on the song together. I mean, crystal castles was a thing before grimes became the poster girl of the ~weirdos and now alice is often forgotten or people just remember her for the abuse she went through and as petty as that can be, I can understand because that's just human nature but yeah she should just let that go, heal from those feelings and not mention it anymore because it makes her look stupid

When Ben talked about "new music" it sounded like we'd get a single first, but "new album soon" could mean that there's not much time between the album and a possible single (if we get one). So a single will come at the same time as the album or it will be released just a week before. I don't feel like we're being teased with a series of singles until we get the album, like in the NFR pre-release era.

Possibly another single release before 2022 is up then? It initially reads as if her plans were ruined but I actually think she is teasing something, if the plan in question was delayed she probably would’ve used the ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I mean that's messy but if she can change her songs a little and release them as an indie artist I don't see a problem. It's not like she was a huge international star when Capitol did their job. She received the almost same recognition indie artists do and she was more of an internet celebrity than a traditional. I'm not Sky, but I think that being an indie artist who performs at small venues and is in control of her career is much more fulfilling than what she does, which is standing in the same spot for years. In this case Don't Forget was a one step forward but she didn't move since then. Like I said, it's very easy to go viral on Tiktok. Her millennial brain should really take advantage of it.

Don’t know if that’s what he meant but I must say it’s the « trend » at the moment: one single, sometimes preorder before that lead, and release within 3 months, 4 tops.
