Despite the venue being a MESS, this show blew the 2018 show I saw out of the water. She was dressed and styled up, her band sounded incredible, she wasn't relying on backtrack, and the visual production was insane!!

The full speech was actually 5 minutes long! I recorded the whole thing from Rob’s livestream, but it’s sort of hard to hear her clearly. It’s quite echoey. I’m about to go to sleep, but I’ll give it a listen after I wake up and see how much if it I can transcribe (I work as a transcriptionist for my full-time job, so I’m used to trying to transcribe audio that can sometimes be low-quality or unclear lol) x

i really hope she wins her court case. i've seen so much misogyny thrown at her, people outright saying she 'deserves it'. grimes has done plenty of things i don't agree with, but she doesn't 'deserve' for her 3 year old to be taken from her, taken to turkey and paraded in front of erdogan of all people. she doesn't deserve to have to beg to see him on twitter of all places as elon is ignoring her lawyers. likewise she didn't deserve for the father of her child to take a photo of her during an emergency c-section and for it to be sent to her father and brothers. she didn't deserve elon going behind her back and fathering twins with another woman whilst they already had a surrogate pregnant with their 2nd child. she didn't deserve to find out about these children when a surrogate was already pregnant with their 3rd child. ultimately she's up against someone with 'unlimited' money and was likely trying to make the best of it rather than fight it and probably lose. for anyone confused about the timeline of their children, X was born may 2020, exa was born december 2021 and tau was born june 2022; they were all ivf but the last 2 were born via surrogates. (also she said she's happy if her kids want to change their names when they grow up.)

It’s our second to last show after five months, and since this is about as far north as I think we’ll go for a very long time I just thought - well, it’s just for me - but I just wanted to take a minute since we’re all together and there’s never… I mean when do you ever have 22,000 people together so… I thought we could take a minute to, um, put our wishes on the table just for a second - each person’s individual wish and just keep it in mind and put it out there because 22,000 heads are better than one. And um I just wanted so say a quick little blessing to the powers that be that every single person who has their own you know individual dream may they know that like every person’s heart’s desires is a God given desire and it’s not selfish to want whatever you want. I’m living mine now 20 years later than I thought I would and it’s all on God’s time - it’s all on somebody’s time - but um, so just to end it you know if anyone came in lonely I hope that they met somebody, met a friend. If anyone brought their boyfriend I hope that they fell in love with their girlfriend by watching them fall in love with the music. Since I don’t know when we’ll really see anyone after West Virginia I just wanted to thank my beautiful dancers…. [break]. I wish she would do a high production, completely thought through Taylor swift promo type album. Like I saw some ai photos of Lana as Taylor albums and like I wish she had that type of production to her albums. I love her for being so personal and doing what she thinks feels right with her albums but like some unique merch like the lighter etc would be amazing again. She hasn’t really done a high production album since nfr and I do wish she kept on going down that path. But then we wouldn’t have the masterpiece blue banisters so idk how to feel. At the end of the day all I really want is high quality merch and music videos like doin time and not just following her around with a camera doing random shit BUT candy necklace was a masterpiece.

As far as we know, yes. For the most part the outdoor concert season is over for shows by mid to late October so unless they're making an arena leg... which I suppose would be possible in major cities she didn't already hit but those would have to work around hockey and basketball dates and have to have been booked many months ago. This being an indoor show obviously contradicts everything I just said but the venue is relatively small (<10k) and doesn't have a sports tenant. It's also one of the few places she's playing that's not owned and/or run by the sickos at Live Nation.

I consider us very lucky to get all these shows this year. And to think, just a few months ago we only expected a few festivals. I don’t think there’s another leg this year. Time is running out. Weather is getting colder. Lanita needs a bit of a break. Manifesting a West Coast leg and international dates in the spring.

Essentially two things happened: 1) Brooke had asked Chase to hop on a collab called Fish. Brooke felt like Chase’s verse was “too much” and asked her to simplify it… according to Chase she totally murdered the verse making Brooke’s parts look weak. Chase simplified it, sent it to Brooke, and then Brooke ghosted her for a while… despite all the work and revisions she never got paid and the song never came out 2) Brooke asked Freakalicious (new group consisting of Ayesha Erotica, Chase and That Kid) to collab on a song. Typically royalties between writers are split evenly. The group gave Brooke a discounted rate which Brooke rejected and then came back with a measly 10% for all 3 of them… 3.33% each which is just dirty. After the group rejected this, Brooke unfollowed all of them and ghosted them had the audacity to text Chase and ask for Ayesha’s number so she could just do a solo collab with her

i’m so sad hope wasn’t performed but that show was so beautiful i cried my little eyes out. side note is that it took me and my friends two hours after the show ended to get out of the parking lot (one of the worst parking situations i’ve been in after a show. this venue was so unorganized)
